There are things I really miss for download in the Sims 2.

Some good modern furniture and art for example.

I do think 4ESF does the best job of making modern styled furniture though.. and there are more.

But the Artwork for on the walls.... brrr.. and don't even start me about maxis made stuff. (FUGLY!!!)

So, when I was building this nightclub and wanted something stylish and modern on the walls, I decided I had to make it myself.

It got a bit out of hand..

Which is nice 'cos now I have some great Photo Art recolours of that darn ugly painting titled "Two dogs and an Olive."

I made some good old fashioned, very popular in the 60ies (with a revival in the 90ies) Photographic Wallpapers for The Sims2.

They are made out of 5 parts of which part 05 fits seamless to 01 again. (Welcome to photoshop hell.) This means you can create endless lenghts of photopapered wall.

They look great in modern offices or livingrooms. Also good to use for picture taking.

Did some nice pics.

I like building complete stages these days and make the picture with minimum amounts of photoshopping.

After my current contest I will retire from beauty contests completely. I am really starting to hate having to make not in game pictures.

There is a nice official contest coming up though, will give it a try.

I have become a purist.

Did some pictures with my latest Sim Model. She and Sarah will probably become my clothing models in the future. (Yup, I give my sims real names. How nerdy of me.)

Anyway.. A few pictures I adore. I might go do a remake of corpsebride with Sims2 soon. And I love that graveyard for some macabre reason. Must be because I visited Perre la Chasse (This big graveyard in Paris) Last summer. (It's gorgeous.)

Yup I really like my tattoos. Still no regrets, don't think there will ever be. Art wise this was a good decision.

So, my DWP obsession continues. And now I've finally got a good program to screencap which means I can go crazy with all movies I like.

Hurray.

Time to make a DWP Moodtheme.

Which is kind of hard, because there are 132 moods and I need to pick the perfect caps for them. So, anybody who knows the movie, please do your suggestions. I have the full DVD with extra scenes and such.

Here are a few examples of what I already did:

Well I set myself the goal to produce a Devil Wears Prada set for the Sims2. It's quite a challenge to make nice designer dresses. Finally got myself a copy of Milkshape so I can go building meshes now.

I've started with making Miranda's gorgeous Donna Karan vintage dress. I also want to make some of Emily's Westwood outfits, and Andy's Chanel but the meshes will be a bitch I guess. I hope to find some good free ones to use. Anyway.. it's gonna take some time to fix it all.. but I think it will work out in the end.

f anybody has pointers for the characters looks, I would love to hear it. I'm quite happy with how Andy's face turned out. Miranda still needs a little twitching (although she looks ridiculously like Meryl Streep when I give her messy blonde hair.. lol) Emily is not even close yet, she needs a skinjob.

The DK dress is not done yet, still need to make a texture file and detail it.. the red prada's are a bitch too... lol.. still enjoying myself.
